I make cabinets for a myriad of uses from simple storage units to complex glass fronted and lit display cabinets. With their doors, drawers, benchtops and other features they offer wonderful design possibilities.
I prefer to carve the handles for my cabinets, using exotic local hardwoods. In most cases they are constructed with traditional joints including dovetails, halflaps and mortice and tenon. I also employ a number of finishes including oil and wax, lacquer and wax and wiped varnishes.
